Celebrate the Mardi Gras family day with your best friends. Our Barkus & Meoux parade is a way to have fun and while you help the programs of the shelter.
The Krewe of Barkus & Meoux Parade will take place on Sunday, February 27, 2022, and steps off at 1:30 pm. Check-in and on-site registration will begin at Noon on 21st and Harborside at Pier 21.
Sponsors, walkers, and donors will all help us produce a successful event that will help so many. Proceeds from this walk will support our community programs including; emergency care, spay/neuter assistance, and vaccination and microchip clinics.
Registration is "per pet" and they may bring their favorite people! Event shirts are not guaranteed for late or on site registrations.
Rabies vaccines are required for all cats and dogs. Please bring proof.
